Normally, this might go well with any other girl having you cook breakfast for them in bed. But, not a lot of girls wake up at 5:00 AM. “Why are you awake? It’s 5 in the morning!” whines Winona.
You check the underside of your hashbrown patty. Hm, pretty much there. You say to her, “You don’t wake up at 5 in the morning?”
“No normal person wakes up at 5 in the morning,” she groans. “Go back to bed.”

“Sure,” you say. You slice up the patty into two separate portions for yourself then her, then place down the sunny side up eggs as well. You hand up her plate, and she starts eating slowly. “So, club fair is this afternoon, you got any idea what other extracurriculars you want to do?”
“Ugh, Ellie, it’s too early.” She rubs at her messy hair, slowly biting down on her food. “I mean, we gotta get-“ She looks at you, and finds that you’re already dressed out in uniform, bathed, and had your face done as well. “… how early did you wake up this morning?”
“Bluntly speaking,” you admit. “4 o’clock.”
She sighs. “Is this going to be a regular thing with you? I don’t like waking up this early.” If she didn’t want to wake up early, she shouldn’t have become a Naval Studies student.
> “Yes. It is.”> “I suppose I can settle for 6 AM.”> “Oh, don’t be a baby. Nobody ever died waking up early.”> Other
