I volunteered on the first year they were in an actual hotel and not at their college or whatever. The volunteer schedule was hectic and a lot of people weren't where they were supposed to be, and you could basically walk into the con without a badge. There was a tiny ~10 table AA in a side room, and then a bigger one mixed with the dealer's hall. Gaming room was another tiny place with ~10 consoles and a mess of wire. Panels were dead, except for Vic Mcnognog's which consisted of him singing happy birthday to 200 contestants. They had some sort of weird outdoor field day/faire type thing where you'd play beanbag toss out in the fucking parking lot. It was a pretty sad con altogether imo.
I don't think it's going to happen again this year though, as I recall them skipping the last two years.
