And I'm going to guess everyone attending Hoshicon is going to be a volunteer, since she doesn't need to pay them back anything anyway and that's why they're free. Maybe that's the whole reason she's doing it for free, so no one will be required to be paid back.
Though, the fact she's not hiring any professional security members...
Oh god, is she even hiring people for first aid? What if someone's going to get roofie'd or has a seizure at her con? Does that mean she'll be held financially responsible, since she's the one holding a large scale event?
