I don't mean to sound morbid or anything, but to those (lolita) attending Meagan Bly's service, can you let us know how it is? I would attend myself but I live across the country.

You. people. make. me. sick. I can't even. I only came on here because her boyfriend told me this existed but you people didn't even fucking know her. You all make me sick. She was a dear friend of mine. It's none of your businesses. "finding clues and getting to the bottom of this" It happened. I know I've drowned myself in trying to realize she's gone. I literally wanted to throw up when I found this. talking about brand and lolita. she hated all the community's guts. we would spend nights talking about it. Oh so you wanted to go to her funeral? It's not a bloody party. I had to sit there in those pews wishing with all my might she would come out and say it was a joke. I hope you guys all feel good about yourselves you disgusting excuses for flesh.
MarmaladeDoll
haha.apparently I'm fucking weird. I deleted my facebooks thanks. I can be fucking weird, but maybe that's why I was one of her best friends. Melodramatic my ass. You would be if your friend died and she isn't here to talk to it about. I can vent my feelings however want. You fucks have no right, to spew this. go get a life.

"This one in particular seems to be super upset about the passing, so I'll drop this here because most of the things are public. As of now."- Yeah I'm fucking upset. You guy's are dragging my friends name through the mud.
MarmaladeDoll
"It would be nice if her boyfriend/parents sold all of it and took all the money they made and put it into some kind of "drug awareness" or rehab charity." ha ha really?

I bet you ask your teachers at the school where you study design about how to make your costumes. No way you could have risen from looking like hell (with your very first-first cosplay) to have spotless, perfect, cosplays in less then 6 months, even with the classes you go to. Also, those "adorable" headbows that you make are Creepsville replicas, and you don't even admit it. If you win or eveb place 2nd or 3rd in the Cosplay SM, I'm moving from this hellforsaken land, c'us that just means the community has gone to hell. Also, Pastelbat, you're thin as a fucking stick, or rather, skinny-fat. So please get some exercise and for that self-hate please read a book about self-loving and see a therapist. Also, stop with your vote-fishing for every fucking online-contest. And I bet the whole fucking thing is rigged. We'll see who comes in next week. If it is another one that I've heard that the arrangers know, I will scream.

Hey guys, just to be clear, as I know one of the organizers and as well as being one of the older organizers, I just wanted to explain some stuff. The results of each year has been voted through by jurys that have next to no knowledge about the participants, or relations to them. Last year we had one from each convention, a person from the japanese embassy, cosplay gen, Pixelninja and as well a representative from our sponsors. As with the participants being chosen from the web; from the top 5, the jury (not related directly to the organizers) then took those 5 and made a decision based on their knowledge of the cosplayers and their works. Also, you can judge people however you want to, but until you get to know them yourself, I believe speaking about stuff like you do might not be the best option. I've got my fair amount of shit talking comments about be "rigging" the competition, but as far as I know, the only thing I did was to pull the strings to make everything happen, and then let the jury play out the results. Good? Now stop being dicks and assholes. I'm fucking proud of what Sweden has achieved the last year when it comes to cosplay. And I believe that it's people like you who makes this whole community the shittiest I've ever experienced.

So, what is the verdict on princess party companies? People seem to dislike Traci--is it because she works for a knockoff princess party company? Or?

>>6477286 I think that's because Korea tends to have anti-American sentiments. At least currently. My dad fucking loves MacArthur and has a lot of gratitude for the American Soldiers who fought in the Korean War. But man, with shit like American soldiers killing Korean schoolgirls and other fuck that's been in the news more recently, there's been a surge of Anti-American feelings so that might be why some Korean-Americans were refused service.
Also it might have entirely depended on their ability to speak Korean as well. Korean adults are already dismissive as hell with youth (I've noticed a different in service in Korean restaurants when I go with my parents/family vs. when I go with friends) and that's multiplied even further if you're a young person that can't speak Korean well. They assume that you didn't bother learning because you didn't care about Korea, etc etc.

>>6477292 No, because I'm creepin on yo white dudes all the time. And your brown dudes and your black dudes.
Serious answer is still no. I've noticed that weeby girls who have "Asian" as their main criteria will settle for the bottom of the barrel for some reason, which lets us play at a different league, so to speak. Generally speaking, I think there is this sort of preference for white women in Asian guys, but usually it's just as a little bonus, and if the guy has any respect for himself, he'll go for like a legitimately hot/nice/sweet/cute white chick and not a weeb, in which case a typical Asian chick will fall short if she isn't anywhere near as hot/nice/sweet/cute as the white chick to begin with.
tl;dr ultimately race is a cherry on top if you're into that sort of thing, but it doesn't change the fact that you've got a fucking delicious ice cream sundae in front of you already.

Ok, so I'm going to Metrocon which is on the 15-17 of this month. This'll be my 4th anime convention, but this time I'm cosplaying as a male character. I lost my linen badges for my tiny tits, so I don't know what the fuck I'm going to do now. I'm scrambling like hell to find it, but is there any other suggestions instead of the linen badges? I'm a B cup, my breasts are small, but noticeable somewhat, which is not what I want in this situation. Also, I have a little bit longer than shoulder length hair, which I need to style like a boy's. I have the character's hair somewhat, but my hair is just a bit too long, and since I used wigs on all my last cons, I don't know what the fuck I'm going to do this time.Sorry if this thread seems summer as fuck, I'm just trying to get my shit together. Help a seagull out. Pic related by the way, it's the cosplay of the character. Not me, of course though.

I've been wondering this for a while, but how many of you, (or anyone really) get tracks/hair extentions for cosplay? I imagine of course you would use natural hair colors unless you dyed your hair, but as someone who has worn them on a normal day, I think they are a more secure alternative to wigs. Especially if you are cosplaying someone who moves around alot. glue vs. sew in? I perfer sew-in myself, thoughts?
