Diferencias entre el español y el portugués

>El portugués tiene más arcaísmos del Latin vulgar.
En portugués las palabras con F no pasaron a H. (Falar - Hablar, ferro - hierro, fermoso - hermoso) La versión con F es la mas antigua.
En portugués las palabras con V no pasaron a B. (cavalleria - caballería, cantava - cantaba) La versión con V es la más antigua.
Las palabras que en español tienen sílabas "ue" (puente, fuerte, muerte) suelen sustituirse con "o" en portugués y gallego (ponte, forte, morte)
