So I'm in the middle of michigan trying to learn to read Chinese. I've been doing flash cards for the first few chapters of a book designed for one semester, but I'm noticing that it's structured more around conversation, while i have an easier time remembering combinations of simpler radicals. For example, september being nine+moon.

Are there any resources that build up in order from the simple radicals? Kind of like how a chinese to english dictionary is organized?

Also, I'm looking for resources on learning chinese for business and coming up short. stuff like loans, taxes, accounting terms, municipality bonds, stocks, etc.
