Me and a friend had a mutual acquaintance who was pretty unstable, probably bipolar, came from a broken home and lived with an abusive aunt. He started bringing knives to school and showing them off - and I mean real heavy duty hunting knives - but we didn't say anything because we were afraid of what he'd do if we did, and we didn't know what other weapons he had. Then one morning he displayed his knife at the bus stop (not the one I used) and got caught and arrested. We never saw or heard of him again so I assume he got sent to remedial school or something like that.
