An opportunity to study for a year at the University of Eastern Finland has emerged, and I'd like to know what it's like out there. Would I freeze my ass off? I'm used to winter temperatures going down to -5 or -10C, or -20C on very rare occasions. What are the people like? I'm ok with autism, that would not be a problem. I'm also knowledgeable about the exploits of Simo Hayha, so I hope that that compensates for the fact that my language sounds like Russian. I'm also well versed in Spurdo and thinhairchinmanism. Also, is there any hope that I'll be able to learn even a bit of Elvish, or will I have to stick 100% with English?
