BRIT THREAD.

All Britbongs report in, all people interested in British culture are welcome, those who wish to visit the UK are also welcome to ask questions, essentially a Brit thread as I mentioned above.

Fellow UKians, where are you from? I am from Manchester. I was thinking about purchasing private health insurance today because of this one time I was sent to a private healthcare place by the NHS after waiting too long for a surgery. It was a nice place, good accommodation. The NHS is good but I'm thinking that, any time down the road in the future when I manage to get disposable income (yes, 2010s, disposable income, shiggy diggy) I could spend it on health insurance and live like a king when I get hurt.

Any Britbongs here preferring private healthcare over NHS? What made you change?
