Hello.

Yesterday, somebody on this board posted a story. That story revolved around the exploits of a character by the name of Captain Drake. For those of you who were there at the time and are familiar with the details of this story, I'll get right to the point:

I am Hawk.

First of all, I can confirm that the story is real. He exaggerated certain events and reworded some dialogue, but the core narrative is accurate. And yes, he did leave the forum afterwards, as stated. That is why I am here. Looking back, I am perplexed as to why this is the case, but Drake and I never exchanged contact details, nor did he do so with any other members of the forum.

However, since I'm now aware that he visits this board (I see you lurking, Zoe), I'd like to take this opportunity to try and get his attention.
Drake, if you're reading this: I apologize in advance for being cryptic, but if I post my email address outright, I may be flooded with friend requests and be unable to discern which, if any, were sent by you. So I've devised a personalized riddle that only you should be able to solve:

I imagine it's glaringly obvious that I'm not a 4chan regular, but I've been lurking long enough to know that threads die very quickly if they aren't bumped regularly. I won't ask anybody to bump the thread for me, as that would be pathetic. Instead, we'll see if I can't attract the same crowd that Drake did with a story time of my own.

Let's begin.

"Eh? Why would we want him in our group?" Your whole class looks at you with their judging eyes. "He is always so gloomy... He doesn't have any friends and nobody really talks to him..."

You wanted to tell them off. You wanted to stand up for yourself but they were right. You couldn't say a single word back to your middle school classmates. However, you were used to it. You've always been alone at least at school. "Let's go, let's just leave him alone."

As you watch your your classmates walk away, you started to feel lonely. "I wish... I wish I could make a friend..."

That was when your alarm started to sound. The sharp sound rips you out from your nightmare into the real world. You yawn. You stretch. You did everything you could to wake yourself up. After all it was the first day of university for you. "That dream again..." You whisper to yourself. You've always had that dream whenever it was your first day at school.

Then, as you climb out of bed, the smell of breakfast starts to waft through the air. "Ah... She must be cooking breakfast already..." You think to yourself.

It's been a year since the two of you got married, however you still haven't gotten used to living with her. Before it was easier for you to interact since you lived in your house. You had your mother to act as a buffer between you and your wife. However, ever since last week, it was just the two of you in the house. "I should get ready for school..." You think to yourself as you head to the bathroom.

After you get ready for your school, you head downstairs. "Ah, good morning honey." She greets you with a smile.

"Good morning..." You still haven't gotten used to it. Even though you've been married for a year you still couldn't call her by her first name. "Good morning... H-Aomine."

So, who else is sick of Nid's players whining yet? Because I was done dealing with it about 3 weeks ago. I mean, don't get me wrong. I like Tyranids players normally. They're part of the reason I got into 40k in the first place, but after their last release... Sweet jesus...

I'm a Dark Angel player, and playing the only 6 ed codex worse than yours, tyrafags, I am going to say, I'm ashamed of you. You should be better than this. FFS, an entire faction of yet another 'spess muhreen' players are taking their shitdex better than your high and mighty xenos asses.

I don't see, nor did I see, fucking hourly threads about Dark Angels and how bad their codex is. Your codex at least sort of works and wasn't the shamelessly obvious testbed for the Vanilla marines codex. Ours doesn't work, and is an overcosted mess with some of the weirdest attempts at over complicated never gonna fucking happen synergy between units at are often 15-25% overcosted.
You show up in every 40k thread, you cry, you whine, you bitch, you piss, and you moan, and I can NOT be the only 40k player who's fucking sick of it.
I know I'm not the only one here who wants you fucking Tyranweenies to stop crying.

So, sound off if you're sick of hearing it boys and girls, and lets post some art of Tyranids getting their asses kicked like they fucking deserve after this fucking ridiculous overblown level of whining.

Sup /tg/? So I remember a few supplements that were in demand, that managed to elude us for quite some time. Ultimate Equipment for Pathfinder, Dungeoneers Handbook for 4e, Burning Horizons for Cthulhutech... But in the end, they were all found and shared.

So I'm wondering, what's in demand that we haven't tracked down yet? What's our current holy grail? Looking for a discussion, possibly a share thread.

In the past couple days, I've seen requests for Tannhauser, Everway, the Master's Guide and Monster Folio for Radiance, and the pdf that seems to be slightly harder to obtain than anti-matter, the core ruuuures to Eoris. Anybody got a line on any of these, or know any other products that have confounded our top men?

What do you think of Shifting Loyalties?

Almost every depiction of harpies throughout the ages depicts them as somewhat slender bird-women with varying degrees of birdness. Assuming depictions that don't have a 100% bird body with a human head attached to it, how do they even fly? They can't generate enough force to create lift, can they? Shouldn't proper harpies be beefcakes with extremely muscular chests for any kind of sustained flight?
