How do you like your elf culture /tg/?

Do they dress not much different than humans? Or do they have semi-modern clothes in a medieval setting? Or maybe they wear something like togas? Or are more like indians running around in animal skins and furs?

One of my players is kinda frustrating me, mind you its before the campaign even starts. I have developed a campaign and I deliberately design them kinda bare bones so that the players have a lot of room to grow and breathe and sorta make their own way in the world (With a sandbox style game), well one of my players (who I haven't played with before now) is just very very....inquisitive. He is constantly asking me for answers to questions, calling me in the middle of my shifts at work, keeping me up all night, constantly asking questions about what his character knows (he's a soldier and patriot) about his country, his nations politics, and what not. He is always asking more and more questions... I want to enjoy it because its a player who really cares about the game and his character, but also its just very very fucking annoying. I don't really know what to do with him, /tg/. He seems to get really upset when I ask him to just stop like I have slighted him in some way, so I dont really have many outs.

So, what does /tg/ think of Duncan Rhodes, virtually the voice and face of Games Workshop towards the masses?

Do you like his painting tutorials?

I've never been to an official GW store, so he's basically the only representation of the company I've seen, but can someone enlighten me as to whether Games Workshop used to be more outgoing towards its fans?

Is Warhammer World or tournaments the only place you'd see and talk to GW staff, and do any of you guys have any experiences to share?

I'm just very interested in this, since all you hear about on the internet is people ranting about bad business practices, and I never hear anything about any actual people.
