Generally speaking, however, demons are in total control of their cover's emotions if in cover, because they're effectively controlling it like an MMO character. If you pick the wrong emote to display, your cover displays the wrong emote. It didn't matter that you are extremely angry: you are "elsewhere", a different quantum state piloting the cover that just gave a nice warm smile.

The "Miles Away" dramatic failure effect is a control loss in this fashion, and a demon in true form isn't hiding behind a cover and probably has its (likely very hostile) emotions normally detectable - although it may require a bit of interpretation depending on what it looks like.

Don't be angry, tera. It's a really nice jump but it suffers from being very abusable. It's a bit like how Merchant has to answer questions every few days about some pantheon import. Except that it is far easier for Merchant to check on the requested 'gods' and flick the omnipotent ones out than it is for you to check up on powers or limit some Misc meta choice.

It's really up to you to decide what you do with it and seems that I'm posting to slow because you just did >>40364167. You do have to realise that as the jump is now, you WILL receive questions about the superpowers and this will lead to salt. I hope this all works out in the end.
