I've always been fascinated by the French Revolution, /TG/. I'm thinking on making a similar setting in a Not-real-france, so my historian players won't bug me too much; and maybe withsome touches of magic here and there (fey, demons, and such)


The players, of course, would be members of the resistance, and the game would start at the zenith of the Sun King power.

Any ideas for it? Sounds cool?

You're a freshly-graduated “neofarmer.” In 2137, farmhands have given way systems engineers, who manage scores of livestock and crops upon vast expanses of automated farmland. As part of the “Grow the Future Initiative,” the government provided an initial “starter kit” to recently graduated students, and you had just received your share.

You could see the 3d-printer in the middle of the large tracts of lands you've been granted, whirr loudly as your initial, very basic farm facilites where being built automatically. You'd likely need to upgrade it later but for now - this would do to start out with.

You've also been given basic milking machinery, and a single service droid, simply called "R-1", for "Robot 1". You might give it a nickname later.

Six days ago, the sky turned red and a Thor from another world flattened the city of Dammam.

Sometimes stuff like this just happens, pretty much.

The sky turning red pushed your exploits to the second page. The casualty reports that followed soon after – the scenes of Dammam collapsing into a burning crater, shots of two Thors fighting in the sky overhead – pushed you off the face of map, as far as relevant news is concerned. The Corsairs managed to get a few TV sets out in public, and you huddled together in the snow to watch the devastation unfold. Overhead, an eerie mirror-image of the planet Earth hung like an omen in the sky.

It only lasted an hour. The alien Earth vanished and there was a worldwide Avengers announcement assuring the public that the invading Thor was indeed not ‘ours’, and the event, while tragic, had been brought to a close. Then it happened again merely a day later, and again, just ten hours after that.

That time it stuck. Nothing appeared to wreak havoc on some unfortunate city, and the mirrored Earth was replaced by a great, black void cut in its proportions. There was another announcement, by Cap himself, stating that measures had been taken to ensure the safety of the planet, and that the Avengers – the real ones, and the fifty teams officially endorsed by SHIELD – were proceeding ‘offworld’ to resolve the situation.

So, that happened. And now you’re here, on some rooftop near the edge of Brooklyn, following the sound of sirens.

You wake up early again the next day. After talking to most everyone, giving Hereshiel his bracelet(and silently enjoying the thanks he gave you)and then delivering your newly written words to Verelio you were feeling surprisingly tired. You did recover quickly though, and after some rest(and forced milk drinking from Ven)you feel refreshed as ever. Now what should you do for the day? You could go see everyone you talked to that agreed and go down to the pit now. Those slaves arent going to free themselves after all. Or you could go do numerous other things, there is plenty around to do.

As you sit up in bed and wonder what to do, you remember that potion Oleria gave you. According to her words it would be quite changin, and you wonder what she could possibly have done to the holy liquid to make it even more powerful.
