Let's have a modern RPG thread!

I found a modern firearms supplement book by Palladium and wondered what system would be good for a campaign inspired by Jagged Alliance, the Gorky series and maybe a hint of World in Conflict/Panzers Cold War. However, I only played/GM'd unrealistic settings so I have zero experience with systems that support these and for some reason these RPGs seem to be less popular. What are your recommendations, /tg/?
