Just picked this sourcebook up for DH 2nd edition. There is some very cool stuff in here, and the Sisters of Battle seem very good. Includes many, many ways to say, "fuck you!" to psykers and daemons.

Hmm, not sure how I feel about the starting mutation being decided by 5d10 rather than a percentile. I get it's there to help prevent someone getting either really powerful or really hindering mutations right off the bat, but you're almost always going to get swollen brute, deathsight, or cursed fleshmetal, it kind of kills the diversity. At least until the additional corruption starts rolling in.

The year is 1103, and Christian blood stains the land.

With the defection of several of the Catholic King of Jerusalem's retainers to the Eastern Roman Empire, a territory dispute reared its ugly head.

Should the Kingdom of Jerusalem or the Eastern Empire have ultimate authority over the lands on which the retainers built?

Unable to negotiate a peaceful resolution, agents of both powers clashed in a bloody struggle to determine the fate of the towns.

In the end, the in-land trading town was too far from the coast to be saved by the empire. Isolated and surrounded, the Imperial garrison was overhwelmed, however bravely they fought.

However - with access to the sea, supplies from trade and the support of the Roman Empire, the settlement and primitive dock was retained in spite of vicious raids and sabotage that cost many lives to starvation and disease inside the walls of the port.

Will this infighting prove so costly as to ruin Christian hopes of holding on to the Holy Land?

Not with such strong arms behind the sign of the cross!

1-2. His brothers needed to know. His brothers far North. Not his brothers in faith, who were slaughtering women and children for gain, betraying each other so they could call themselves ruler over a small strip of land, oh no, not those brothers. Even further North where his true brothers were bound by blood and their mother's water. His true brothers, sons to the Great Duke of Saxon. He could share the mysteries of the desert with them. Not all of them certainly, even though he loved them dearly there was no way he could guarantee that they would not go mad themselves.
Brother Elias needed to approach them carefully. Of course he would not return as his father had wished. Not showering his father in the gold he had hoped, not bringing his father a holy trinket. His thoughts stopped. Certainly his father would take him back at court. Would seek him a wife and he would spend the rest of his days reading the ancient tome and growing fat and idle. No he could not leave just yet. He needed gold and men, to return. He did not want his father to welcome back a beggar, dirtied and bearded like a common man in the streets. He was son to a great ruler and he needed to return to his father in glory or not at all.
He would have to return back to his holdings. Of course they would have thought him dead, but he was certain that he could at least rally some support there.

I don't think it breaks anything. I've always wanted to play a GOO Warlock with Int as the main stat. I could also see a Dex Barbarian working.

As a stranger on the internet, Wisdom and Intelligence are pretty interchangeable, and there's no imbalance in allowing one over the other. There are more wisdom based saves then intelligence ones, but it's not a big enough issue to worry about.

Almost all the gods got eaten almost instantly, and those who were only hurt got hunted down shortly.

Ceogorach hid inside the Webway and started trolling everyone.

Isha very nearly got eaten but were "rescued" at the last second by Nurgle who took him as his wife and have showered her with his love ever since. She does however whisper the cures of many of these to the mortal races just to spite him.

Khaine got really fucking pissed off and almost managed to kill Slaanesh in one-on-one combat before Khorne showed up. Together they gangbanged Khaine and tore him to pieces that then ended up in his temples in the Craftworlds, so he only sort-of survived. But I think if Khorne had minded his own business, it all would have ended really different.

Nah, Khaine got dominated by Slaanesh. Khorne's arrival saved him from being consumed by Slaanesh. That is one version of the story.

Anyways, you forgot to mention that at the time the Eldar Gods were in a period of decline because the Eldar turned their backs at them.

Other versions of the story have khorne and slaanesh fighting over khaine
because khaine is a mix of both
