Far warning, second quest thread.
It's been nine weeks since your last act of resistance. After a successful, but bloody, ambush on a country road left three of your friends since high school dead on a country road and a forth who had to be smuggled three hundred miles to get his insides put back together. Now you just sit, smoke if you have any, read if you can calm down enough and the gun fire isn't more than sporadic. Your resistance got you solid enough connections to the underground and black market that food and water has never been a problem. In the beginning it was almost fun. You started by smuggling your teenage sister; Jess, to your grandparents in the country. They gave you your first gun, an old Soviet Nagant revolver with an almost full box of ammo, grandpa had fought in his own war but never talked about it until you dropped Jess off. There in the front yard of their small house in the mountains, surrounded by trees, grandpa looked at you and said, “Remember the patience of the hunt. The eager wolf starves come winter.”
Part 1 of 3 for intro, then initial options for the main character. Hopefully people are interested.
