>>37766687I dislike this CYOA because:
1) No matter what you choose, you end up being overpowered. Yes, even skitter mode is playing on ultra-easy.
2) The possibility of choosing more than one power is a huge turn-off for me, because in Worm powers are supposed to fit a theme, a major power and a secondary power tops, and if it doesn't fit a theme all characters just stop in their tracks trying to figure out how when there is no real explanation other than a ROB did it.
If it was a CYOA that fits into canon (no repeat powers from other known characters, only one power) then it'd be better. There's still a few things that bug me like how in the stories everyone seems to just know everything about their powers just from 'feeling it inside their heads' and practicing for half a day.
I've read some CYOAs and it always ends up as a 'let's fix everything!' or 'let's troll everybody!' and it just reeks of wish fulfillment.
