Fact 1: Elf population dynamics are purely exponential, since they have no expiry date. This means that starting with a population of 10 elves, and assuming elves start mating at a relatively young age, and thereafter breed continuously, it would take them about 200 years to reach current human population using simple exponential population dynamics. This is compared to the hundreds of thousands of years it took for humans. Fact 2: Elves have the most potential for technological advancement. They spend the least amount of their lives without skills and have the lowest loss of quality-adjusted years of life to aging. They also can't genetically modify themselves to require less sustenance with ease due to their population structure. Facts 1 & 2 lead to fact 3: Elves are, in fact, the one race most likely to drive an intergalactic empire of exploitation. Spreading and acquiring resources endlessly to counterbalance their population growth, they're known to devour the minerals of entire planets with their incredibly advanced technology, while glassing and then rapidly terraforming other suitable ones to host endless hordes of elven colonists.
Hear ye, hear ye, I call to order another meeting of the Mage Guild.
This is really just a formality meeting. We need an official vote to rescind Page 31411, Subpage 17, Paragraph 3, Subparagraph 8 of the Revised Guild Charter. Whichever scribe or apprentice wrote down "all Members of the Wizarding Guild shall wear Facial Hair not shorter than Two Inches in Length at all Formal Events," but forgot to write that this doesn't apply for female members. Unfortunately this was accidentally ratified as-is, so it technically requires a full guild meeting to undo. Is anyone opposed to a revision?
QM: Is there a quest, show or other form of media that you'd say inspired your quest above all else? Players: Be honest; Do you think your QMs are out to kill you?
