Hear ye, hear ye, I call to order another meeting of the Mage Guild. On the agenda for today: the Druid Council is raising a stink. We all know that the Astromancers need to view the stars behind the moon, but the druids say that our plan to phase the moon into another plane until we're done examining what's behind it is "an atrocity against man and nature" and "will have effects that will last generations, even if it's only used for a few hours."
Of course the treehuggers know nothing, but they have great pull in the Interguild Councils. What should we do here?

Zimbwe is my name, and I come from the Southern continent. Unfortunately, the tribes of my jungles have turned away from the guild in the past, but I am sure that true friends remain within your ranks. Surely your diviners and seers have seen the visions that I have. A great catastrophe is coming to our lands. I have seen it in the bones and in the stars. The time is nearly right for the great spirit to awaken. This has never happened before, not since the creation of the great lands which we stand upon. I fear that the awakening of the spirit will cause a new genesis to take the land. I seek your aid and your counsel. Though in my lands I am well known, I am sure great sorcerers like yourselves will see me as not much more than a medicine man. Hopefully my humble appearance will not change your decisions. Thank you.
It's time we formally meet, as one guild, under one banner. We were disorganized and informal, and much of that blame lies on me. I was concerned on my glory and mine alone. Enough with the "King of Thieves" act, if we are to be a proper guild I need to be a proper leader.
With that said we need to evaluate our position amongst the other guilds and determine who will be in charge of what in the Guild.
Alright, lads and lasses. I call this meeting of the Bakers Guild to order. And put those knives away, please.
I'm proud to say that funding for the guild and our bakeries is at an all time high. However, I keep getting these notes from nobles that are about targets and bounties, and such nonsense. Certainly not about bread and confection, but I've passed them along to your mailboxes anyway. Feel free to talk about them here.
But first, the Princess' birthday is approaching, and we've been tasked by His Majesty to bake her a gargantuan, masterpiece cake for the occasion. I need ideas and resources, people.
Oh, and the Court Wizard also gave this note saying we need to "take care of" the elven ambassador. Nothing specific in the letter, so I need thoughts on what to bake for him. Maybe elves have a special diet or something.

Your alarm rings and your hand shoots out instinctively to turn it off, face still buried in your pillow. You sigh muggily and tense your shoulders, stretching out both arms before rolling and tossing the covers aside, swinging your legs out and rubbing the sleep out of your eyes. You rise and peep out through the curtains - lazy sunshine drifts up through the tower blocks, playing across the mists in typical fashion. A true Tokyo morning.
Still, you can't idle around here all day. You tear yourself away from the view and head into the bathroom, quickly showering and brushing your teeth, looking into the mirror at that pretty face that greets you...
