Alright lads and lasses, it's time we meet formal like. We've been far too disorganized to call ourselves a proper guild and that's partly my fault. No more of this "Theif King" business. I'm a guildmaster and this is a proper guild. A place where we accept and harbour all those who like their coin dishonest, their knives sharp, and their wit sharper.
With all that preamble out of the way we have to seriously consider our place within the more established Guilds, and who is in charge of what.
What the hell Mods, I thought we were cool. We can to an agreement. We keep our guild meetings, which have been a tradition since '06, to the weekend and you leave us alone. It's the weekend, what's the deal? Since when was role play not /tg/ related?
Twitter: https://twitter.com/ConflictEvidenc Anya needed more lines. _________________________________________________ Well this is a bit awkward. Houki asked you to meet her at the train station at 10:00 am, but she has yet to show up. Being Sunday, the only real day students here get off, there is quite a few of your classmates also waiting for the train. You notice a couple of your classmates, so you wave at them as they pass. So here you are, John Smith, just killing time while you wait for Houki on the date you won from the bet with her.
Not having much to do, you take inventory of things you will have to take of: Still waiting on the progress from Uncle George about the negotiations with France, still have to finish programming the bits and begin testing with Cecilia and possibly a date with her later, shopping trip for Charlotte to get some normal clothes and now that you think about it, Laura would probably want a shopping trip too. Sounds like your plate is full even without unexpected events but at least you have some time before summer. No idea if you'll be able to stay here in Japan as Grandpa might have other ideas. Not to mention, interviews and other political functions you'll have to attend due to being a Candidate Rep. You wonder if Natasha is alright since she hasn't called you in a while, must be busy with her work.
“John, busy being stood up?” a familiar voice calls out to you pulling you from your thoughts.
You look up and see Rin wearing a tomboyish set of casual clothes with that grin of hers.
“No, just waiting for Houki.” you reply.
“If she does, I could show you around since I lived here before having to move back to China.” Rin replies, “Your treat of course.”
“Of course.” you respond flatly.
“Glad to hear that.” Rin says with that smug grin of hers. “Anyway give me your phone number. That way you can call me when you get stood up.” Rin continues with that smile.
Hear ye, hear ye, I call to order another meeting of the Mage Guild.
Now that the New Year is passed, we must make arrangements to repair the Guild Hall and tidy the hallways. Also we must make a formal apology to the local government and union leaders for the ruckus that was created during the New Year's Eve. Those of you involved know who you are.
Also, on the subject of overtime, any overtime shall be held in the Archive so we do not disturb the establishment any more. Celestials only know that we've aggravated the Union enough.
Hey. If wizards can make golems, turn iron into gold, make stones float through the air and trees grow from an acorn to thirty feet tall in a few seconds, why are we mucking about in the mud all day and breaking our backs to harvest wheat?
>Okay, you rolled a paladin? Good, very good. Oh, I see he has a wife, how interesting. And a daughter too! Okay, hmm, I'll be sure to remember that. Moving on...
