Greetings, /tg/. I am here to ask your opinion on something. I started a thread awhile back, and I was met with mixed opinions on the system. While most of it was with the formatting, which due to time constraints and frequent tests, I have been largely unable to fix, although it has been lightly improved.

Anyway, expanded and revised, here is the new system. I already have a full group for its playtest, and we are going to begin soon. I just wanted to see what /tg/ thinks of it so far, using the set of rules that we are going to play with.

My name is Danny McGill and I'm not your average high school student.

A week back I had my sixteenth birthday, and with it went through some changes. Nothing like a late start at puberty, it was weirder than that. I started growing horns out of my head, started getting changes to my teeth. I've been able to do things, magic things. And I've been getting visitors that are strange too. My television talked to me, giving out a warning about evil in my future, and I met these weird homeless guy with horse ears that gave me a strange magic staff.

'Strange' and 'weird' seem to be a couple words that keep coming up on me.

See, it turns out my dad was a god called Dionysius. Or Dionisus. I dunno, some Greek shit. I never really knew my dad. He high tailed it when I was still a kid. But he's died recently. Murdered. And for whatever reason I've inherited his mantle.

I am not really human any more. I'm a monster called a Satyr.

Truth be told, I don't at all mind. It's been working out for me so far in lots of interesting ways. But in the back of my mind I gotta remember, someone killed my dad, a real full blown god, and someone would be after me too.

But until they come I'm going to try and enjoy myself a bit.

Now I've just finished up with my girl Andrea buying a set of clothes, and I'm hungry. Could go for a bite.

Question is, where?

I've noticed quite a few quests on the board for awhile now, since I'm a bit of a lull period with my IRL games and I'm honestly disinterested in dancing rings around trying to get into a proper game on Roll20/Skype without the worst of flakes and other issues.

So, with the absence of a place to talk about how to build a quest, what sorta things I should look out for, and stories about such things, I decided to make this. To help anyone with advice, learning quest standards and posting times, you know, normal stuff.

So, for a starting question, how large should an average update be, and in how long should it be written in?
