It’s several moments before Akeno responds, this time with a squeeze and a chuckle.
“You’re so cheesy,” she says, laughing into your neck, “Giving me that speech and then saying that.” She leans up and kisses your neck lightly, her lips tingling on your neck.
“But I guess that’s why…why I love you. At least I think so.”
She looks at you from your shoulder, her eyes locking on yours.
“It’s hard sometimes…I’m still not sure I’m in control of my emotions all the time. So…give me some time to be sure ok?”
You lean down and kiss her forehead, which she leans into.
“Then I’ll give you all the time in the world, so we can both be sure,” you say, holding her close.
This gets you a happy murmur from the dark haired beauty on your chest.
It’s here, as you rest in a warm bed, that you feel something nearly oppressive hover over you. It demands that you act.
