>>29119446>>29119523nah, it makes a good point. Even if you don't agree with the source the base line message being delivered is relevant.
For much the same reason guys are uncomfortable with seeing the idealized image of guys that many girls have (look at Yaoi please, which is a type of porn that was primarily pitched at girls and continues to be one of the only forms of pornographic media directed at the female gender) and just focus on the idealized form of a guy in that particular set. If you're a straight male then you're probably made a little uncomfortable by it (I know I am).
Do you really imagine girls don't feel the same way about the traditional idealized female form.
We don't WANT to look like the idealized sexualized form females have for males.
Girls don't want to look like the idealized form sexualized form we hold for them.
It's got nothing to do with white knighting and everything to do with just acknowledging reality for what it is, and working towards some sort of compromise.
Stating that girls should get equal amounts of pornographic content focused on their desires isn't the same thing as saying that guy's should have to give up the pornographic content they like.
Both sexes tend to find attractive pornography that is mutually exclusive to what the opposite gender finds attractive in pornography.
Thus. PORN FOR EVERYONE is what I argue, unrealistic as it is, simply because that's the fucking point at the end of the day. Just accept that what the other gender finds attractive in a purely sexual sense makes us slightly uncomfortable and just live with that.
