•Skin: Non-furred. It has leathery skin, like a bat’s wing that is naturally corpse grey. Covered all over in long, winding scars that appear to be self-inflicted. Each weeps a black gunk that gives its body an inky sheen. At the neck, they have a ruff of dark black fur with stray feathers here and there.
•Limbs: Muscly if slight. The Strix’s hands are long, bat like claws which are covered in multiple thorny barbs. Each secretes an extremely toxic poison from the nails and thorns , giving them a dirty, unpolished and slightly green look. It’s legs are slim and insectile, giving them an elegant if powerful appearance and each ends in a raven-like talons.
