Previously:
Awakening amidst her operation, a young ranger panics as her organs reject her, slowly freezing her body over. With thoughts of her mother stirring in her mind, she forces them to obey her will, extending her time in this world.
In the recovery ward, a disciplined young man takes her hand as she regains consciousness, relaying news of a friend that's gone missing.
Unwilling to let a friend vanish, the search begins despite the state of her body, leading the two of them to Saffron.

Entering alone, she finds the earnest mother of her lost friend, Leader Sabrina.

With coercion the brave little ranger faces off against an old friend, only to nearly kill her in a duel.
Learning what it means to be a monster, the ranger is finally allowed to meet her friend.

It's pretty clear by now that GW is just speed releasing new codices and are just going to give them mini update via supplements so they won't have to change editions every four years. Someone please tell me I'm not the only one who noticed this and am happy about it.

Lately i´ve been running some games of cthulhutech , the party usually sets for 1-2 tagers and intelligences or wizards ... i´m feeeling that having a small selection of tager typesto choose , i know the other books have more tager and job classes , problem , they have yetr to be translated to my language ( spanish) so at least can we get a classes thred from cthulhuteh?

i´ve heard there are now some sort of mini engels avaible too

Has anyone played Cthulhutech? I know it's kinda new and doesn't seem to be that popular but I'm sure someone has.

Thinking of starting a game, what should I know beforehand? What to look out for and try to avoid?

Horror in Quests. Can it be done?

Hey /tg/

My gaming group's current game and GM are going on hiatus and I'm throwing my hat into the ring to GM for my crew. I've done it before and people seem to dig my games. That said I'm bored of the same old campaigns we play (my group prefers white-wolf systems. Exalted, WoD/nWoD) stuff like that.

I'm feeling sci-fi and maybe kaiju (thank you Mr. Del Toro).

So I was looking through various sytems and came across Cthulhutech. This seems thematically at least to be exactly what I'm looking for. Anime inspired action with mecha and a touch of horror. Guyver meets Macross with some NGE thrown in. Sounds sweet.

So i'm about to drop some cash tomorrow to pick up a book but I want to see what you guys had to say first. It looks gorgeous but how do the mechanics work? What does it play like? Does it pull off the anime/mecha vibe with some Kaiju and crazy cultists trying to help eldrich horrors destroy the world?

Its finally happening /tg/. After years of oppression by spell casters, broken mechanics, and tormenting game design I'm finally getting a chance to leave 3.X and pathfinder in the dust. My group is letting me DM a game to try something new after I begged them to give a different system a chance.

That said, I cant fuck this up or I'll be stuck with what we have been doing. I hear you guys hate those systems too and so I'm asking you; what are some great systems that are fun and easy to slide into?
