I suppose there's not any particularly significant differences armor-save wise, though the Stealth v. 6+ Invuln distinction would be gameplay significant.
Oh, and both have biofoam injectors... but I don't know what advantage those would give from a gameplay perspective, since both are 1W models.

It was mostly because I wanted to play someone who was twisted, broken, terribly scarred, and filled with hate. Also I knew a couple of people would roll elves( we have this one guy who rolls an elf ever single campaign, stereotypical elitist elven asshole sort of character, usually a rouge sometimes a sorcerer.) And i wanted to flip the script on him having a character that hated all elf kind for what the Drow did.I never really dwelled on the whole rape thing much since the mutilation was more important and secretly was a big part of my main motivation, rape just seemed like something Drow women would do to a captive but the DM made it a bigger part of my story when I encountered two half drow who claimed I was their father. I learned their mother was the same Drow who had brought me food, water, and treated some of my more serious wounds when I was held captive. I had thought that this was just so they could keep me alive to torture me longer but it was actually a twisted sort of Drow affection and that she had intended to keep me as a personal slave. Instead of being slaughtered at birth for their impurity they were show very undrow like mercy by their mother who instead abandoned them on the surface as children to die. They were taken in by a wizard who had been studying Drow culture and saw them being left on the surface. He used them to help farther his studies and eventually took them on as apprentices and taught them magic. He also helped them learn of their past and track me down. This was pretty much my chance to either forgive past wrongs and let go of my hatred by accepting my Drow children who having not been raised by other drow weren't evil at all or kill them and cement my evil status

I'd secretly been hiding my alignment from party and learning necromancy spells for a good chunk of the campaign. I ended up killing them, raised them as specters, started making my way back to the party, trailed them for several days raising any enemies they encountered as undead, and finally slipped into camp, killed the elven rogue who had been trying to have me killed for half the campaign and after a short confrontation with the party who on seeing my small army of undead were forced to let me go I vanished. Without me and the rouge the party barely managed tl defeat the BBG and everyone but the cleric died in the process. After the cleric had left my character now a NPC showed up, raised the bodies of the slain party members as well as the BBG. Our next campaign consited of the cleric, the rouges sister (still an elitist elven asshole, this time a sorcerer), my self playing the wizard who had raised and taught the half Drow, and three others not directly tied into the last campaign seeking vengeance against my old PC now a powerful Lich wiping out elven settlements and our new BBG.
Rape. It's srs business.

They're publications in the Rifts "World Book" series. Vampire Kingdoms was the first (and recently a revised version was put out, something that hasn't been done for the WBs) while Lemuria is one of the more recent ones, late 20s I think.
