Why are elves so hated in general?

Almost everybody always goes "lol tree huggers", "lol homos" or "lol rape baits" when it comes to elves.

Meanwhile they are the wisest and most civilized race in almost every setting. Sure, you have wood elves. But you also have other kinds of elves that build cities that make human cities look like slums.

In Warhammer they are the only thing holding Chaos at bay. Seriously, without their vortex whole world would've been overrun by Chaos centuries ago.

Is it really all just jealousy?

And what is your general opinion about elves fa/tg/uys?

You are Mirror Blade, a clone of Cure Blade. You taken the name Masako Ishikuno for now as your cover story to live in the human world. You are now watching your sister being...built? Born? You don't really know how this works but whatever is going on inside the tank is way over your head.

You've been waiting for what you think are three hours for your sister to wake up. It is especially hard to know how much time is left because as soon as the process started the Memory Crystal covered itself with human-shaped skin. When you asked Doctor Schwitz about it he said it much easier to make a body this way. It has been a while but she grew waist long hair just like yours in a few minutes.

Your mind races, she must be almost ready, maybe! You finally decide on what you're going to do.

The doctor knocks on the crystal vat, "Wake up already, you have someone waiting for you." And steps away. At first, nothing happens and then theres a loud crashing sound accompanied by a flash of light and out of the vat comes out your sister, Mirror Axe...you really need to give her a name soon. She kneels on the floor wielding a large Executioner's Axe, using it as support to stand up. You really can't contain yourself you're...surprisingly happy that you have a sister but at the cost of not getting the memory crystal back that your rush to her and hug her before she even has a chance to form her combat clothes like you did. Right now, you don't really want to think about how this will affect Misa.

She looks at you really confused "...Mirror Blade?"

The doctor coughs, "Maybe I should take you to your room. You didn't get the chance to see it before Mirror Blade and no one expected you to do what you did." You:

What are some good, even necessary, guidelines to adhere to when drawing up a map?

Meilang (that's Kneesy) and I are in the middle of a raid the rival school to our White Wing Academy, the so-called Blue Wing Academy - but while she's busy dealing with the goons, I'm stuck fighting the mastermind, a spearfighter (well, it's a glaive) called Yang Long... and then there's her grasp of chi.

Even though I just punted her and her big-ass weapon back through the gatehouse, she's up on her feet, silvery chi roiling through the air around her, all wrapped around her glaive, like a dragon, even. Just great. Just what I always wanted! At least she's cute. Not as cute as sis, but still. She's just smiling faintly, ready to make her move, but not doing so yet. "If you like, I'll let you back dow now."

You are Yuri Ivanov, a Corporal in the Tesenturian Reserve Corp and well….shit happened to you, after partying with some comrades in celebration for a series of peace treaties and creation of a lasting stable government. Meaning that for the first time in its history will ensure that the neighboring countries will cease hostiles and that the government itself will ensure that it will keep together and not fall from the various factions that once plagued the old one thus ensuring a long awaited peace.

Or at least it should have after being enlisted on a patrol along with several new recruits by your closest friend and now superior Sergeant Maya Salko which took you on the outskirts of the city in which you were ambushed by remnants of an old faction. After a couple of skirmishes with the enemy which left your forces with a few wounded, one dead, and you almost dying by the end of a knife but otherwise the battle was a success. However a strange bright light suddenly envelops the both of you in which you managed save her by pushing her out of the way.

Now you’re in a the Capital of this strange fantasy esque world shopping for things with your…benefactor/kidnapper in a sense and are now browsing a set of short blades until a voice interrupts you suggesting something bigger.
