So /tg/, now that GenCon is wrapping up, how was it for you? Do anything fun? See anything cool?
How many fedoras did you see? How many trenchcoats?

Hello /tg/. Some friends decided that they wanted to play a real p&p rpg and I volunteered as DM, because otherwise nothing would happen.
I settled on Runequest II because I've been playing King of Dragon Pass lately and I saw that the rules were pretty easy to learn. Now I've never played a p&p game before and all I know about Glorantha are tidbits I've caught in my failed attempts to become king of dragon pass.
Can we talk about the setting and perhaps tips on how I should go about DMing this?
So far I'm thinking to have the players be from the same clan in dragon pass so I can use what little knowledge I have to craft a small scenario. I want the first session to teach them about local customs, cults and laws. I don't really have much knowledge in either subject and the rulebook is a bit sparse in that area. Is there a pdf that go into more details on the day to day life of villagers and the perils of living in a frontier?

I finally got the Black Legion supplement.
I can't give you everything but I can spoils some thing.
>In your primary detachment, you can take Chosen as troops without needing Abaddon.
>All units must take Veterans of Long War.
>If you have Abaddon in your army, you can upgrade one terminator squad into The Bringers of Despair. Each of them cost +6 points but they gain +1 to WS and BS.
>Black Legion can ally with Chaos Space Marines as Battle Brothers.

Your strange state of confusion lasts for but a moment as you transition fully from the world of dreams to that of reality. Although the specifics slip your grasp, you know that it was a strange dream, but just like all the others, the morning sun washes it away and your dazed fit of giggles falters as consciousness returns.
Yesterday was exhausting, but by no means unpleasant. You actually wish more of them were like that. Still, your ending was a bit ungracious... Tut-tut, Hanako.
Checking the clock, you find it's a bit earlier than your normal waking time, but not by much. You might want to go see Lilly... Since for the first time in perhaps months, you didn't get a chance to do that yesterday.
You... Didn't see Lilly yesterday? Not since breakfast in the early morning - yeah, a full 24 hours away now.
Wow.
Hisao... already seems to have affected your life in a major way. And actually, on that note... an idea pops into your head.
Double-checking, you realize you'd have enough time to make it to the male dorms without risking being late for class if you left now.
With a stretch and a yawn, you tug yourself up and decide to...
>Stability: 1
[] Go see Lilly. (Costs nothing)
[] Go spy-er 'see' what Hisao does in the morning. (Effect Unknown)

Hey guys I'm building a mythical world for an RP and I got a question that while seems obvious, I want to actually know some real stuff
What are the differences between Christian Mythology and Jewish Mythology?

Hey /tg/.
Does this make sense? In my campaign I have a large and powerful order of lawful good paladins besieging a different, but also good-aligned, kingdom with the goal of destroy the corruption growing from within.
In this setting, paladins get divine power from their deities. Would this action cause the lawful good paladins to fall out of favor with their lawful good deity?

Gentlemen, welcome to Song of Swords. Last time, I filled in some of the blanks on the game's campaign setting, specifically the cosmology, and one of the prominent deities, Genosus, the Indefatigable Sun.
However, there are two sides to this story. The sun rises every day, and brings light, life, and warmth to the land.
But the moon also rises.
Where, for fifteen thousand years, the Solar Cult has ruled Oaska, a new power arose in the Northeast, across the Broken Sea, quietly, subtly, and seized control of the reigns of the largest empire in the world.
Settle in lads. It's time to learn about the Moon Goddess, Bocanadessia.
