>>25391509Babakushya sat alone in her small cottage, the parsonage that served as the Voice of the Mountain's home. She sipped some of the strong aquavit that was her people's specialty, a hearty brew made from busharri. She'd have to put more industry towards that, it could make a very profitable source of income for this new nation she was building.
She looked around. Surely this meager dwelling was not befitting of the Voice of the Mountain, the holy one who makes the will of Buskochovit known, the very heir of Chovit... No, the Voice needed much grander accommodations. Not just her, oh no, no. It was future Voices, of course. To do otherwise would be selfish. No, this would be a monument to all Voices, past, present, and future.
The railroad was coming along nicely, now that she had decided to skip the niceties and just forced the issue. Soon this massive project would be complete, and a reliable trade route (as well as the ability to get troops across the land quickly) would be in place.
The only thing standing in her way was the recent rash of assassinations. She would have to have the Castigars look into that. Can't have officials dropping like flies.
>Rolling for:1. building a palace for Babakushya (pic related, the Vatican is basically what I'm going for)
2. completion of the railroad
3. Castigar investigation into the assassinations.
