I've been wanting to try out D&D for ages now but the groups at my local shops seem to only play warhammer40k; all one of them. So, I've turned to finding an online group with some sort of virtual tabletop and skype or something.
Are there any good places to find a group looking for members? sup/tg/ usually doesn't seem to be listing much.
Perhaps a forum or something?

Hello, decided to write a short book, perhaps make it something more if I feel like it. Here is part of the first chapter describing one of the characters.
Thoughts and criticism please

Ser Wulfric knew honour would only guard you to an extent, put when they cross over the point, they were doomed. The point was that of his sword. An unremarkable sword, in every way except for the kingly handle, blood red ruby’s encrusted the hilt like barnacles, emitting a soft glow of a red aura surrounding the hand that wields it. The guard of black steel each end a wolfs snarl with ever more ruby’s trapped inside the hateful eyes. The blade itself was a bastard sword. Befitting for a person of his size and lineage. The shield strapped to his muscle infused, steel clad arms the size of a man’s body a triangular shaped lump of steel, edges as sharp as storms peak. The emblem decorating his shield, a wolf of immense size clamping down upon a man’s throat, depicted in white steel with yet more ruby’s spilling from the man’s throat. The man himself, an enclave of black steel, his torso chest plate covered in decades of war of no respite. Shoulder pauldrons protecting either side of his neck and covering his massive shoulders with protruding spines. Atop his shoulders and his around his neck a great wolf skin covered him from the elements, torn and ripped as it rippled in the wind. Greaves and vambraces of sleek designed, knee and elbow clad with razor spikes as to main enemy’s during melee and the charge. The helm Ser Wulfric donned was a fierce spectacle designed to place fear in all who gazed upon it, Steel capped with the likeness of fur receding back across the top of his helm, too large ears shape like a hounds defending each side, the visor of his helm, a shortened snout of snarling teeth just below the eye line. Ser Wulfric had the name and heart of a wolf, and decided to show what he truly was, a dangerous, wild and merciless animal. Looking for its next meal.
