Why are Expanded Universes always shit? I can't think of single example of where alloying outside talent to touch an IP and "expand" it doesn't lead to a fucking disaster. FF7, Lovecraft, Star Wars, Star Trek, etc.

Case in point, FF7. Core game Reno is a cold blooded murderer that kills thousands of people. Even being responsible for one of the most badass on screen kills in the game. FF7 Advent Children and other EU content he's a carefree guy that serves as a comic relief lackey for Shinra. There's no excuse for this shit. Either respect the source material and write it as the original author intended or fuck off and create your own intellectual property.

Does anyone know of any good programs or methods for giving players a small digital book?

One of my players is starting the game with a book of lore, and the player requested that it be a tourist's guide. I am delighted, but don't know how to present it cleanly online. I've written up most of it, probably 6-8 pages max. Any suggestions would be wonderful.

Hi , I was invited to play D & D , the guy whos DM'ing it said to roll up a character. I need some practical advice , I want to play a Drow monk , is that viable? Drow are kinda neat cause the spiders and the backstabbing. I figure a monk would stick out and be a lil different. Got any opinions? Or is this going to make me "that guy"

Files posted directly to 4chan are not added to Da Archive, so go grab them now.

Grab your documents. Da Curated Archive, Da Archive, and Da Archive Annex comprise the collected efforts of countless contributing anons and are attatched to the first three posts.

STEP 3:
Get comfortable and browse through the blasted things! Use CTRL+F to search for a keyword. If you're too specific, it may not register. The first several pages of Da Archive list massive personal collections. These are also useful, and if you decide to ignore them, you'll be missing 7,654 PDFs. Spelunking is often half the fun!
