As another anon suggested, using their antlers to make bows in order to save on wood and honor ancestors/family (Hornbows, hue) is also a good idea. Offering up ones horns is a very intimate gesture, especially given their importance in courting
Courting is done seasonally, rather than there being permanent monogamous pairings, bucks will compete and court and pair off for the year, and children raised communally. A father may not be explicitly told which child is his by the Doe, so all may be treated equally in the village. 'Every buck is your buck, every doe is your doe'. Some may choose to affect a monogamous relationship by returning to one another year after year, however.
Likewise, treated horns can be used to tip spears or arrows, rather than metal
A rather demure people, they are however given to rather raucous revels, drinking and eating and flirting and fornicating freely in bacchanalia to celebrate holidays
