So, why didn't you embrace heroic low fantasy?

I know "low fantasy" is getting quitebad rap recently, because of the invasion of "realistic", "gritty" and "grimdark" settings... but have you considered that low fantasy doesn't have to mean that.

And its som fucking refreshing. And comfy, I mean it.

I've got so fucking tired of bullshit magics, of capeshit """heroes"""of high fantasy, whose """heroism""" means that they have flashy-kitchy-kewl "powers" like

...And then I get imersed in the world where heroes are truly heroes, who achieve greatness by their own, mundane yet still extraordinary brawn, wit and will of iron. Face the mortal dangers with a stiff lip in a face of death and prevail. Where magic is rare, mysterious and subtle - that is, actually magical.

Fuck. This is the real shit.

I'm currently playing a Jedi in Star Wars Saga and i needed some help with the build.
At first i thought it was like D&D 3.5 but this game gives a ridiculous advantage to ranged combat and i don't know how to overcome it.

Any tips, talents, feats, etc to help me building a melee jedi in this game?
