What is Godbound? Is a OSR style high fantasy game using simple mechanics to reflect powerful characters that make decisions with lasting consequences. It gets compared to Exalted, but it's more like a TTRPG version of Dominions. If you don't know what that is, you should feel bad about that.

If I make scans of out-of-print books which are hard to find, what's the best way to go about printing copies for personal use? I figure loose page printing and DIY binding, which the binding isn't hard to do for softcovers. The point is I don't want to be a jackass and make it even harder or more expensive to find by buying more original copies.

Home printers are generally not duplex-capable and far too expensive to use outside of a few odd pages, and the paper is generally too thick. Commercial PDF printing (Staples, Kinkos, College Printers, Library, etc) is so expensive it's often cheaper just to buy the few remaining original copies floating around. On top of that, they'll generally refuse to print obviously copyrighted works unless it's a self-service station like at a college.

Guess I should find a friend with a duplex capable laser printer. That goes as low as 2 cents per page.

We tend to use spoilers for OOC chat, but nothing is set in stone.
We tend to use greentexts for describing a character's actions, but again nothing is set in stone.
Use d20s for combat checks and d100s for other things you want to roll, higher Is better.

Just increase the amount you are pledging by the cost of the add on. For example, if you are backing at the $50 level, and would like the First Hero expansion ($35), you would leave your pledge LEVEL the same, but change the pledge AMOUNT to $85.

The Kickstarter is to fund a new edition of the game. If you get the game through the Kickstarter, it will have the update pack already included. If you already own the core game, you need to by the update pack to make everything compatible.

We don't know yet, but that may be the case. Either way, there are no levels you can back at that don't include either the update pack, or the updated core game, so any base pledge you get will be compatible with the new expansions either way.

A box that is basically a grab-bag of minis and variant rules. Adds classes and a new mechanic tied to a 5th player character. There is one additional major mechanic it adds that we haven't seen yet. The contents of the box are already decided, Poots is just revealing a random item from it each day. The rolls are not tied to the amount of money raised in any way.

Hey /tg/ can we have a .pdf dump thread? I've seen a few anons who collect these and dump them occasionally to help others out and I'm currently looking for the Whispering Vault core rulebook.

So I'm currently writing up a Fallout florida campaign using elements from fountain of dreams and the canceled fallout tactics 2. Also as a local floridian I think there is a lot of potential for interesting fallout locations, such as Disney, the everglades and kennedy space center.
