True Original
His backstory is somewhat convoluted but it starts off with an Alien Civil War thousands of years before the story. The Alien Species were humanoids with slightly elongated heads similar to xenomorphs with enhanced intelligence but powerful psychic abilities, predominately mind control. They used this power to subjugate the other planets around them and build their empire.
However there was a mutation in the xenotypes that produced a strain of aliens that looked more like the archetypal Greys/Ayy lmaos. These mutants suffered severe physical defects in exchange for increased mental/psychic power compared to their xenomorph looking brethren. The grey types showed that they could overcome the mental blocks of the xeno types and in fear of being subjugated like the other planets they had done this to they started to eradicate the grey types. This led into a civil war that decimated their galaxy. Some of the aliens on both sides that stayed neutral banded together and fled to different galaxies but in the end the grey types exterminated the xeno types from their planet and took control.
