>>93225830The problem with this is, it actually highlights how asinine our moderation is. You can't just judge whether or not banning a word is appropriate, you need to look at the context of the rest of the moderation. The biggest reason why frogniggers are allowed to spam as much as they want and you can be sure a thread will never be deleted if it has a frog op is that several years ago the CNN wrote some bullshit about how the frog was THE NATZEE SYMBOL. So mods adopted this mindset about not deleting frog spam, ever, to show that 4chan was the epic free speech bastion. Of course you can still get banned if you post literally anything that offends the local tranny, but frogs are a sacred token, only because the CNN didn't like them. That's the context we're in, mods encouraging spam to show how rebellious we are, and that's the context were a fucking word has been banned.
If things were a bit sane, both the CNN saying retarded shit and the imbeciles getting offended at naughty Japanese words would be ignored, and it would be the end of it. What we got instead was that CNN saying retarded shit ended up encouraging mod approved spam, while other retards saying retarded shit ended up with "offensive" words getting banned. It's completely schizophrenic how our moderation depends entirely on what other people think, but the results of this pathetic dependency are completely arbitrary and can be completely the opposite like we're seeing with protected frogniggers and the banned dreaded n-word.
I don't give a fuck about the meme word, believe it or not, I have never posted it. But I'm tired of mods abusing their power in the most retarded ways. Every fucking passing day, moderation here gets worse.
