I would like to remember you that Deepin 15 is no longer based on Ubuntu but on Debian. They've also redone their DE and it's now based on Qt.

Redpill me on Bitlocker with fTPM.
I used Bitlocker with a TPM1.2 module and a pin code verification on boot before. No complaints, worked well and hassle free.
My new mobo doesn't support hardware TPM, but the AMD cpu has fTPM. Is there anything I should be aware of with this setup, or is it the same for all intents and purposes?
