>>82754420>I don't have a big ego.to have a fragile ego, you dont need to be egocentric, or to have big ego, I don't think you understand the stereotype I am speaking of.
Even old shows like Seinfeld have shown the stereotypical Russian guy, who was ready to kill because he got offended (the writer and the pager episode), that thing is not normal in the west, you still can get offended, but you dont act extreme, you never chimp out (if white).
In my humble 20 years in Moscow and 4 years in Petersburg I can say that Russians, mid and low class (economically, and socially) all chimp out when you scratch their fragility.
You can make fun of rich dude's $100k super car all day, he knows the car is expensive, and its actually good, but if you say that his dad bought it for him, and he is jobless loser, hell try to fight you. Actually, while I am writing this I came to the conclusion that the fragility is just one of the sins Russians have, the other is they live in delusion, they lie to themselves almost as early as they are able to talk.
So that guy with the 100k car, lies to himself about him being a successful guy, he don't want to admit even before himself that hes skills, abilities and knowledge has nothing to do about his social/monetary situation. So he is not humble about that. Many such cases, you gotta play along their delusion or else they will chimp out.
And before you ask, no I am not actually Russian, my mother is from Turkey and my father is Norwegian, but we own plenty of shit in Moscow and Petersburg. And altho my older brothers and sisters grew up in Germany I ended up with my father, I am thinking about living this shithole every day, but the West seems just as much depressing as here, its worse for other reasons tho.
