Newest Alienware Area 51 Laptops cost 6,000$ +tax. This is actually a telling way of how unaffordable tech is becoming in anywhere outside US.

This would of been only about 3k$ just 5 years ago

What is the end game for Coraline Ada's ideology?

No.104994996 View ViewReplyOriginalReport
If Coraline's anti meritocracy ideology were to succeed even further then it already has and reach its logical conclusions, what would free and open source software and the FSF be like? I think it would be entirely diverted into a social justice shit show where the topic is no longer about free software but rather social justice causes like BLM, antifa and DEI. It will just be synonymous with open source then.

And of course I know there are people who are anti sjw-ism while still rejecting free software.

What are /g/'s thoughts about this dark future?
