So I got some new hardware and am going to do a reinstall on one of my computers and was wondering if some linux distro was a viable option.
I don't really game, and the few old games I do play have Linux support, but I do need both Lightroom and Photoshop. How's running Adobe products on Linux in 2015? Viable yet? The computers in question CPU does support Vt-d, if that makes any difference.

How come my computer when watching videos of new games runs perfectly smooth on 60 fps on the highest graphics but when I try playing the game , it's extremely slow and my computer runs like 2 fps on extremely high graphics.
