I think we should come up with a new expression that only us 4chan geeks know. Its "computers" Think about it. We all use computers for 4chan. We can all say "Thats so computers" or "Man, that weed was computers" What do you think?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y_lhqg_p21k I'm confused now, on the one hand you hear that there are almost no Linux viruses in the wild and that Linux is not infected by Windows viruses. Now I saw a video called Mythbusting Linux from Matthew Moore a guy who develops a Manjaro respin and seems like somebody who knows what he's talking about. He says he has a virus on his Linux machine which harms his system or influences his software and points to an .exe file which obviously is a Windows executable. So is his computer really affected by a Virus?

WebM thread What am I doing wrong here? It renders but 4chan is throwing a "File contains an invalid stream"ffmpeg -i source.mkv -ss 6:05 -t 6 -b:v 1M -an -c:v libvpx test.webm
Anonymous
Quoted By:
>>42488879 Easy answer? Remux the mkv with mkvmerge GUI and uncheck the subs stream... There will certainly be a way to do it from ffmpeg command line though

It's almost 2014. Year of the Linux desktop is approaching, and right around the corner. Why haven't you switched to Linux, yet, Winfags?

What if programmign languages were methods to eat an orange?
Anonymous
Quoted By:
>>43353826 God damn it. Sides eaten. I never expected this as I read from bottom up.
Quoted By:
Here is how I eat oranges in PHP: Take the Orange, make sure it is not lemon. Then find the right knife. Cut the top off. Peel off the skin spirally untill no more skin is left. Split it to pieces and eat them one by one. The seeds go to dustbin which automatically gets cleaned when I'm done with the orange.
Quoted By:
First you decide to initialize the process of eating. You take a plate, a knife ,a fork and bag for disposal. You get the imported orange form the refrigerator and try to slit it with a knife. But wait you thoughts invoke you to not do so as you might break the structure of the object. So you proceed instead with your hand, and when you do ,you realize you forgot to initialize a napkin to clean up the mess. You go back and do so. As soon as you clean up the mess you realize your garbage disposal is out of bound and you have only one bag. So you go back the time in a time machine and delete the orange seed form evolving into a orange!!!

Wants me to set IPv4 to automatic address only and I dont have that option from the drop down. Connection is failing again and again. Wondering if its the wrong version of the software or something and if Ill have to go digging.

Does fwknop really matter? I have finally set up a home server with help of the sticky, and that's all left. I understand that will add another layer of security, but is reallyimportant? My intention with the server is just a little seed box and shares with my other machines.

Does anyone here have any experience with running Plan 9 from userland on Gentoo? I emerged it but when I run certain applications I'm greeted with errors. % sam usage: devdraw (don't run directly) samterm: initdraw: muxrpc: unexpected eof % acme usage: devdraw (don't run directly) acme: can't open display: muxrpc: unexpected eof % 9term usage: devdraw (don't run directly) 9term: initdraw: muxrpc: unexpected eof By chance does anyone have a clue to how I would go about fixing these errors? I'd like to be able to use all of the tools that come with Plan 9 from userland.

Anyone have a solution?

Hi, I know this is old, but did you find a solution to this? I have exactly the same issue on Gentoo.

https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/comp.os.plan9/iEh4DnQGrlk See OP's post on 9/6/10 ... he hadn't installed X library headers.
(I just saw this error on Ubuntu 14.04 server, and installing the development headers fixed the problem.)
No guarantees, obviously.

Its a lot like Germany turned from copycats to quality pre WW1, China stuff is pretty decent not. Dev support would be a point if original droid support was any good. Seeing how guarantees only last 1 year in USA, even this isnt a point anymore.
