Can't seem to find anything with a pause feature and now bandicam even has mp4 recording. /shill. I wanted to use free software or open software if I could or at least nochargeware but bandicam seems to have a monopoly in this market unopposed like xsplit was with broadcasting software. But they jewed out on the sound quality too much in the free version and shot themselves in the foot but I guess in hindsight that was in our best interest that they did. Anyway.
I was kind of hoping OBS or even FFsplit would eventually get a pause feature but OBS just changed it so you can only record in flv instead of mp4 and still didn't add the feature to broadcast to multiple streams like ffsplit has and ffsplit forces you to update to a new version even if it's broken and still has no pause. Kind of amazing a common feature on vcr's from the 1970's still isn't possible in the 2010's. I actually registered and posted in the forums but they're just like "we have other priorities" and "we don't want to be pressured to get something done". Then never get anything done ever. But add useless shit like twitch shit support. And no windows xp support before no directx 9 support. But can't add any useful features from it. And bandicam is just there with a pause feature and mp4 recording like "sup bitch".
