Lisp General: C No Eval

!!KH1sdwwfbWP No.46341585 View ViewReplyLast 50OriginalReport
This is the Lisp General, ask any and all Lisp questions here. Below is a link to the general's pastebin which contains many links to various books, documentation, websites, and other interesting information.
Check the pastebin first:

>Here's the /g/ wiki's page on Lisp:

>To foster discussion:
Which dialect do you prefer?
Do you use Emacs or a different lisp-based editor?
What was your first experience with lisp?
What have you made in lisp?
What is your favorite Lisp program?
What do you like about Lisp?
How do you think Lisp is (one of) the superior programming language(s)?
How long have you been programming in Lisp?
What are your favorite Lisp resources? Please share, preferably links!
Is Lisp your main programming language or not? Regardless, what do you primarily use it for?
What would you like to see in the Lisp general?
What was your favorite aspect of the Lisp machines?
Do you think we'll ever get something similar to the LispMs again?
What is your preferred method of documenting your code?
In the dialects that allow it, do you make many reader macros or not?
Do you use more than one dialect? What are they and which do you prefer?
What do you consider the criteria for what constitutes a Lisp to be?
What is your favorite function in your chosen dialect(s)?

Challenge:
Show off a cool Lisp concept you've recently learned about. It can be anything from FORMAT tricks to making your own special forms.

I've already asked in Stupid Questions but I believe a dedicated thread is better for this.

Any recommendations for quiet PSUs?
Is fanless the way to go? I'm getting this thing in order to put it in a mini-ITX build.

So far, I'm considering SEASONIC SS-520FL2.

How can you wipe the data on these before an RMA? It would really suck if they just take the flash chips out, put them on another PCB, and then send it to some random guy who can get all the information I had on the drive.

I microwaved it for about twenty seconds and it got really hot, and I could see a few sparks, but I read on Stackoverflow that the shielded nature of the drive might keep the NAND safe and push all the current to the controller, destroying it instead. Is that bullshit?

maybe /g/ can help me understand this

I've been getting a lot of shit like related when browsing lately, and everyone and their mother who uses Cloudflare gives a similar "Checking your browser" interstitial

is it most likely that someone on my home network is infected? or someone's cracked my wifi key or otherwise gotten access to my network and is using it for nefarious activities

or is it feasible that it's a local/regional thing where someone on the same block/general gateway for my ISP is exhibiting whatever is flagged as "suspicious activity"?

so I'm working on imgur/pomf clone. Any feature/improvement ideas? Will list all the features later.

It's built on Flask(Python) and it's my first "bigger" project that I created by myself.
