It is using the new lunar lake cpu and will be available in November. It is on tsmc 3nm.
It seems to be a lot more power efficient then the rog ally.

The chipset now has an 8 core cpu (4 performance cores and 4 efficiency cores) instead of 16 cores (6 performance cores , 2 low power efficieny cores, and 8 efficiency cores). It is using battlemage architecture as well

Honestly I hope more handhelds come out with more efficient chipsets, 2 hours at max tilt on the steam deck oled and rog ally isn’t great imo. 4 hours minimum or more would be a lot better imo.

I managed to setup my Arch (btw) Linux with propretiary nvidia drivers and everything works fine-ish? Tiny graphical artifacts every once in a while and some lower performance in some games.

I will be buying new GPU this year and wanted to ask, is AMD that much better on Linux than nvidia? Will I actually see much better performance in games and lack of weird hieroglyphs on wayland?
