I brought them home and am going to list the romance novels on eBay for some cash (and avoid them from being recycled). I'll keep the manuals and reference books and add it to my library.

My neighbour goes city-wide dumpster diving for thrown out scrap metal (Appliances, televisions, ect.) and works out a deal with me where I strip the computer of it's working parts and give him the bare metal case.

On a side note I can't understand why it's such taboo to dumpster dive for e-waste and perfectly good items. I guess the past two generations were brainwashed into thinking it is bad once it goes in the trash.

For what? All you're going to get is a bunch of packaging. Retail stores don't throw out anything in their dumpsters. If they're tossing broken equipment, they tend to now send back to the manufacturer.

Yeah I dont know what I was etting at. I was thinking you would want to do 150.0 not 150 to tell GCC that its going to be comparing floats, that way it wouldnt cast a to an int.

Anyway since you can do something like 50UL for unsigned long in C i thought you could do 50f instead of 50.0 but I'm just retarded tonight.

Just wanted you guys to know about the SnowCrash console application I made.

Pic related, it's the program encoded into a PNG.

SnowCrash allows you to take any file and put it in a PNG.

You can download a windows binary or compile it from source here:
https://github.com/p512/SnowCrash

To encode a file use the arguments
-e [filename]
to decode use
-d [filename]

I made this pretty sloppy so if you see any issues in the code feel free to point them out.

If you mean does it use GTK#, then no. FourIF is a .NET program, and the GUI is in WinForms.

I keep them there, and terminate the string at the first NULL byte (the 0x00 byte). For example, if the file extension is longer than 8 characters, I only store the first 8. If the file name is less than 255 character, the remaining bytes in the buffer are zeroed.
