No. I said Linux wasn't good for it, because it fails to optimize desktop hardware and usage and it's learning curve is very different than from other mainstream OSes like MacOS or Windows, which does not go well in hand with 'home usage'.
Now, I use both Linux and Windows on my computer, but I prefer Windows over most things because of the availability and the fact that I can actually use all of my hardware instead of encountering bugs and fixes for absolutely everything.
Want to play a game in Wine?
Well you can't, it's bugged and won't run as it should, have fun tweaking it for 3 hours.
That's just ONE example, in the start it took me even longer to actually manage to use all 3 screens because it's not a standard in Linux, hell, 2 screens was a hassle.
The list goes on.. Linux is good, yes, but it's not GREAT for desktops. I do love it though.
