>>36985253I'll explain why I like my mac.
I like how it's Unix based and not that windows shit. I like how it's compatible with the software I use, which is mainly Maya, Photoshop, Logic/Garageband/FLstudio, Scrivener, etc. I also like the Xcode interface much more than Visual Studio. I can easily install windows programs when there's no other choice with wine and wrap it in an app, and how I can also run linux packages from fink. I like the terminal (which is linux-like and not windows-like). I love the screen (even if you turn sideways or up and down, you can see the actual colors and not see the screen in negative from the side (awesome for watching videos or movies in groups, without people complaining about flipped colors.)
I love the multitouch touchpad. I've fully customized it for each of my favorite software and global too, to never need a mouse unless I'm gaiming, in which case I usually plug a controller in, or even play like that (I became accoustumed to it).
Before mac I used to have Ubuntu, and I loved it, but I couldn't use a simple printer without messing with lots of stuff. Had to change to windows for photoshop and other heavy stuff, etc. If I could somehow make a middleground between linux and mac, I would do it.
The only thing that would get me back to linux would be the free software, and some customization options that I planned on using, but never did. But I already pirate everything, so I don't think I'll do it soon.
