Not sure why anyone would bash the GED with no child left behind in effect, highschool diplomas are fucking worthless. Schools push any retarded kid through or they lose funding. My cousin reads at a 3rd grade level and has a highschool diploma, he failed out of college his first year with an extremely low GPA and had to join the army.

I think the latest plan is to replicate the style of about:addons into the preferences page, with the sidebar displaying the various categories (that used to be tabs) and the settings in the middle.

That way it'd be neat.

That sounds good. In my old mock-up it was a minimalistic approach such as in Chrome. Just one single page for all your preferences, cut out the useless shit and let the tinkerers do that in about:config instead. Ideally they'd completely copy chrome and integrate Addons, Preferences, Help all into one single in-content tab.

Chrome's extension page is a lot simpler, and doesn't have plugin and the AMO browser categories. Also, the current about:addons can be extended by extensions like Greasemonkey and Stylish to show their installed scripts/styles in a centralized location.

Also, it's most likely CTRL+T, like in Fx
