Hey /g/igolos,

I produce music, and currently have a decent set of monitors. I'm looking to expand my setup and buy a sub.
I was wondering if anyone had recommendation for something that is accurate, and cheap as possible.
I assume even the most entry level sub will be powerful enough for me to feel it, but that is also a concern (for casual listening).
I live in Australia.

Sup /g/ I got a Soniq QT155 TV remote from somewhere. Looks pretty weird, but on the back is a full keyboard/arrow keys and that. I was wondering if I could hook it up to a PC and use it via XBMC

I worked as a tester in Activision a few years ago and I can attest to time-constraints being the main cause.

Looking though the bug tracking system when reporting issues, all you see are dozens of WNFs - Will Not Fix.

go back and take a mental snapshot of every person you've talked to that said "video games are awesome; i want to make video games". now do the same with people who have said "i want to change the fucking world." and compare the snapshots.

Both. It's quite obvious where separate guitar takes have been spliced together in the 80's songs since I guess they lacked the amazing DAW precision we have now and a lot of the recordings were never able to be reamped so the sound isn't that great.

Not many, I hook my desk up as a DAW at home every now and again but its primary use is to be set up in for live events. Recall these days on desks is as exact or as rough as you want. Normally for day to day use I recall everything but EQ and routing, but if I want to recall absolutely everything then I can.

X61 here. Fuckin love this thing, but I don't think I could justify the 1400x1050 IPS panel upgrade. Too expensive. An SSD in the future does look likely though, probably will up the ram to 4GB from the 3GB currently in here.
