Why put in the hard work to learn tech savvy things when I could just wait until some neural link technology makes me learn a dozen Master Degrees from downloading it into my brain? I don’t like learning about coding or engineering. I like philosophy, politics and sometimes history but I see how technology has improved the world so much so I know it’s important so I want to know how it works but I don’t want to put in the time and effort to learn about it.

Am I the only one who prefers retro gfx over the new? Both in 3d and 2d?

2d is especially easy to justify as you can tell pixel-artists in the 90s clearly had more talent than nowadays pixel art. But when I also mention 3d, that's when the fanboys start arguing that I don't know what I'm talking about.

What I'm talking about is how all the new 3d games have this generic Corporate look to the graphics. Like it gives me this vibe that I'm at walmart browsing low-end toys. For example compare the classic Spyro to the remaster. Or Crash Bandicoot Kart original to the remaster. Most of the games look like they were made in Unity gfx. So I don't get amped up for "next-gen" gfx any more because it feels like a downgrade.

Created my own imageboard, check it out, lads.

Quick rundown on features:
You can delete, edit your posts (1 time)

You can create boards. You then become that board's janny. Janny can delete posts, threads, lock threads.
There's no registration. After first post (or board creation), you get a user id which is stored in a browser storage. If you lose that ID, your janny privilige will be gone. Keep it safe!

Threads are infinite, 600-1000 (don't remember) posts max, then posts automatically get pruned.
