>>13507141On top of the utterly forgettable story and characters (aside from Lailah), the "seamless open world" still having battle start and end transitions and thus defeating the purpose, the combat also seemed... sluggish? Honestly, I'm not sure how to describe it, but it doesn't feel as tight as other games in the series. It's like the beginning section of Graces, except somehow worse.
Still, to be fair, I've only played it in total for 5 hours and I'm several miles away from gitting gud at it, but I'm not particularly interested in continuing since I'd imagine that 5 hours should be enough to get the player hooked.
I also keep trying to read Sorey as "sorry".
